National Speed Sport News: Hickory, NC: Brit Andersen and Mike Ward claimed victories in the Real Race Cars Inversion Challenge Saturday at Hickory Motor Speedway. Andersen led the final eight laps of the opener for the USAC Carolina-Virginia Ford Focus Midget Car Series on the three-eighths-mile asphalt oval, while Ward led all 25 laps of the nightcap. Point-leader Chase Scott finished fourth in the opener and second in the finale after setting the fast qualifying lap for the 12-car field.
